YSR Vahana Mitra Scheme: The concerned authorities of Andhra Pradesh have relaunched the second phase of the scheme. As per this scheme, auto driver taxi drivers will get Rs 10000 per year to cover repair work, the fitness of auto rickshaw and additional expenses. The benefits will be given through bank accounts to all those auto cab drivers who are registered under YSR Vahan Mitra. The financial assistance under the third phase of YSR Vahan Mitra will be released by the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh on Tuesday, 15 June 2021. The assistance of Rs. 10,000 will be deposited in the bank account of around 2,48,468 beneficiaries. The government has allocated Rs. 248.47 crores for the successful implementation of the third phase. As we all know that under YSR Vahan Mitra financial assistance has been provided to the drivers who have their own auto taxis and maxi cabs to overcome the expenses of their vehicles. Keeping this in mind, the state government has decided to extend a helping hand to the drivers of the state.

Under the YSR Vahan Mitra Scheme, the government has provided Rs 10000 to around 2,363,43 beneficiaries in the first year. At the same time, in the second phase of this scheme, the beneficiaries have increased to about 2,73,4076. Still, many auto drivers have not applied for this scheme so the Andhra Pradesh government has extended the application date till 4th July 2015. And with this expansion around 11,501 beneficiaries have been added. On 9th November 2020 Andhra Pradesh government distributed Rs 10000 in the bank account of those 11,501 beneficiaries. And the total number of financial assistance given to the beneficiaries under this scheme is around Rs. 510 crores

YSR वाहन मित्र योजना के तहत, सरकार ने पहले वर्ष में लगभग 2,363,43 लाभार्थियों को 10000 रुपये प्रदान किए हैं। वहीं, इस योजना के दूसरे चरण में लाभार्थी बढ़कर करीब 2,73,4076 हो गए हैं। फिर भी, कई ऑटो चालकों ने इस योजना के लिए आवेदन नहीं किया है, इसलिए आंध्र प्रदेश सरकार ने आवेदन की तिथि 4 जुलाई 2015 तक बढ़ा दी है। और इस विस्तार के साथ लगभग 11,501 लाभार्थी जुड़ गए हैं। 9 नवंबर 2020 को आंध्र प्रदेश सरकार ने उन 11,501 लाभार्थियों के बैंक खाते में 10000 रुपये वितरित किए। और इस योजना के तहत लाभार्थियों को दी जाने वाली कुल वित्तीय सहायता की संख्या लगभग रु 510 करोड़

As we all know that there are many auto and cab drivers who belong to economically weaker sections. And due to their financial condition, they are not able to meet the recurring expenses of their autos and cabs. Keeping this in mind Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy has relaunched the second phase of the YSR Vahan Mitra scheme. Under the AP Auto Driver Scheme monetary assistance of Rs. Auto drivers will be provided Rs 10,000 per annum so that they can meet their expenses of repairs, insurance etc.
Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has uplifted the drivers of the state. The government has announced the second period of Vahan Mitra for the drivers who are unemployed and have no money during the lockdown. The scheme is relevant for proprietors who have their own vehicles and work independently. Any interested vehicle driver who wants to apply under this scheme will have to do so before May 26 through the Ward and Village Secretariat.
Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy distributed the annual portion of the scheme on Thursday, June 4. As we told you earlier that a monetary benefit of Rs 10,000 per year will be provided to the beneficiaries. And this amount has been disbursed for four months as there was no opportunity for payment to the auto drivers during the last month of the lockdown. Approx Rs. Rs 262.49 crore has been distributed by the Chief Minister to about 2,62,493 beneficiaries.

The implementation of YSR Vahan Mitra is going very smoothly as it was according to the financial and educational levels of the beneficiaries. Drivers can apply easily on E-Service Me E-Service CSC MD and Municipal Commissioner Office. As it is being told that this scheme has been started again on 4th June 2020 and the beneficiaries who have applied now need not apply again.
