As per the scheme, the AP state government will provide eligible farmers Rs. 13,500 per year in three installments under the YSR Rythu Bharosa-PM Kisan scheme. So The entire Rs 13,500 does not come from the YSR Rythu Bharosa program alone, and as the name suggests, direct cash transfers include a guarantee of Rs 6,000 annually to eligible farmers under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme. In other words, while the state government is providing Rs 7,500, PM Kisan Yojana provides an additional Rs 6,000. While Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy announced that the first payment of Rs 5,500 on Rs 2000 would be deposited under the PM Kisan Yojana. So YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has deposited Rs 3,758 crore for the fourth consecutive year as the first payment of YSR Rythu Bharosa, benefitting 50.10 lakh farmers.
The Chief Minister said that so far Rs 23,875 crore has been directly transferred to the bank accounts of farmers through the Rythu Bharosa scheme and Rs 1,10,093 crore has been spent on the welfare of farmers through various programs.
