• इस योजना के तहत देश में खेती करने वाले किसानों को अपने खेत में सिंचाई के लिए मात्रा में पानी उपलब्ध कराना होगा और उसके लिए सरकार सिंचाई उपकरण की मंजूरी देगी।
• पानी की इसी कमी को पूरा करने के लिए प्रधानमंत्री कृषि सिंचाई योजना की शुरुआत की गई है। जिससे किसानों को रोजगार उपलब्ध कराने में सुविधा होगी।
• जो किसानी के लिए उपयुक्त होगी वह योजना तक इस योजना को लाएगी।
• इस योजना का लाभ देश के उन किसानों को मिलेगा जिनके पास अपनी कृषि योग्य भूमि और जल संसाधन होंगे।
