PM Scholarship 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Verify the requirements for applicants hoping to receive the PM scholarship in 2024. The candidate will not be able to complete the application or get the scholarship award if they do not meet the requirements. The PM Scholarship 2024 sum and benefits will only be awarded to individuals who meet the requirements.
- The candidate must be a dependent ward or widow of a deceased CAPF, AR, or former CAPF, retired CAPF, or active State Police officer.
- The applicant ought to be enrolled in professional education programs. Lateral entry and integrated courses are not eligible.
- To apply for these courses, students must have completed class 12, earned a diploma, or graduated.
- Candidates should have completed the minimal educational requirements with at least 60% of the possible points. Candidates must receive at least 50% on the qualifying exam in order to be considered for renewal in later years.
- The PM scholarship program would also cover the wards of State Police officers who are or were martyred during Naxal or terrorist attacks, according to the most recent ruling by the Indian government. State Police officials’ wards will receive a total of Rs. 500 PM scholarships annually.
- Civilians’ and paramilitary personnel’s wards are not eligible.
PM Scholarship 2024 Eligible Courses
- BE, B.Tech, BDS, MBBS, B.Ed, B.B.A, BCA, B.Pharma, and other first professional degree programs that have been approved by the appropriate government regulatory bodies, including the Medical Council of India, UGC, and the All India Council for Technical Education, among others.
- With the exception of MBA and MCA courses, master’s degree courses are not eligible for PMSS.
- This program is not available to students who are studying overseas. Under PMSS, no distance learning course is allowed. PMSS is only available for ONE COURSE.
