Documents required for PM Kisan Registration 2023

• SC/ST/OBC farmers must have caste certificate.

PM Kisan Registration 2023 Updates and Correction

• Farmers who want to receive PM Kisan payment from the Central Government must have Aadhar Card. Farmers without Aadhar card are not eligible for this scheme. This was part of the e-KYC process as there were many fake registrations earlier also and such steps were taken to remove those accounts.
• Initially, only farmers with 2 hectares or 5 acres of cultivable land were eligible for the scheme, but the national government has removed this barrier.

• Initially, recipients had to go to accountants and agricultural officers for registration. The national government has removed this requirement and moved the system online, so recipients can register from home.
• In 1988, the government started the Kisan Credit Card program, which has now been linked to the PM Kisan Yojana.
