More than Rs. 89 thousand crores have been exported from Uttar Pradesh through these small and medium industries. Small-scale industries in Uttar Pradesh also make distinctive products that are sold to other countries. Uttar Pradesh is well-known for its glass goods, Lucknow-made embroidered clothing, specialty rice, and other items. Small artisans from small villages create all these goods, but no one is aware of them. The government would hire these lost artists under the Uttar Pradesh One Area One Product Scheme, providing funding to small-scale businesses in any area in Uttar Pradesh where a certain product is well-known, and supports the local workforce.
