Namo Tablet Yojana: The Namo tablet scheme was launched on July 13, 2017, by the then Chief Minister of Gujarat, Vijay Rupani. Under this, a target has been set to provide tablets to about 3.5 i.e. three and a half lakh students. Here Namo refers to New avenues of modern education through tablets. Under this scheme, the students who enter the college after passing 12th standard are given a tablet of prescribed specification for only one thousand rupees to help them in their studies.
