The Housing and Area Development Authority of the Government of Maharashtra established the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority Lottery for the citizens of the state. Applications for this lottery will only be accepted for registration and selection by the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority based on beneficiary goals or limitations. It has been determined that around 7,500 candidates will be chosen and offered the opportunity to buy apartments that will be offered at discounted prices.
Approximately 53,000 application forms have been submitted by candidates interested in this lottery-style program. They have applied to have homes sold at the lower prices that they can pay. The Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority has drawn and declared 68 plots and approximately 55,79 units. The names of qualified recipients will begin to be shortlisted by the MHADA.

The selection board has made a final decision about the registration fees that the applicant supplied. The applicants who were chosen to purchase houses will be able to receive their registration fees reimbursed to the appropriate bank account numbers after the names of the qualified beneficiaries are shortlisted.
