To pass the CBSE Class 12 board exams, a candidate needs to receive at least 33% of the possible points. In order to pass the board test, the candidate must also receive at least 33% in each topic. Those who receive an aggregate score of 33% or more but a subject score of less than 33% are required to take the supplementary test. For the next CBSE class 12 board exams in 2024, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has made significant changes to the assessment format. The main goal of these changes is to make competency-based and multiple-choice questions (MCQs) more important. There won’t be as many short- and long-answer questions as in other years as a result.

A few modifications have been made to the CBSE class 12 test format for 2023–2024. In accordance with a new exam design established by CBSE, class 12 will have more multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
