Mahadbt Scholarship: MahaDBT Portal This is the Direct Benefit Transfer Portal of the Government of Maharashtra. MahaDBT Portal was earlier known as Aaple Sarkar Portal. This portal allows the students of Maharashtra state to apply online for various scholarship schemes. Recently Maharashtra government launched a new portal for the Mahadbt scholarship named mahadbt.maharashtra.gov.in. Now students will not have any problem filling out the scholarship form.

MahaDBT – Maharashtra Scholarship Scheme Details.

In total, there are 8 departments of the Government of Maharashtra that provide scholarships for students coming from different sections of society. Some well-known departments include:

• Department of Social Justice and Special Assistance
• Directorate of Technical Education
• Tribal Development Department
• Directorate of Higher Education and more
• The last date to apply for these scholarships at MahaDBT for the academic year 2022-23 is March 31, 2023. Students are advised to keep checking the portal from time to time so that they do not miss any updates.

Documents Required for MahaDBT Scholarship

It is impossible to redeem the scholarship without uploading the required documents. All the documents required are listed below:

MahaDBT – Application Process

Applicants can apply for DTE Scholarship through Aaple Sarkar DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) Portal. It is a unique platform run by the Government of Maharashtra to help its citizens to take advantage of the various schemes available on it. From the academic session 2018-19, it is mandatory to have an Aadhaar number to apply for any scholarship scheme through the portal. And applicants are advised to read the instructions carefully and familiarize themselves with all the requirements before filling out the scholarship form.

Follow the steps given below to apply for the scholarship on Aaple Sarkar DBT Portal:

• The applicant must first go to the home page of the Aaple Sarkar DBT portal.
• And click on the scholarship you wish to apply for – “Post Matric Scholarship” and then click on “New Applicant Registration” to register yourself.
• Provide the required information and register.
• Applicants are required to verify their email ID and mobile number to complete the registration. Click on ‘Get OTP for Email ID Verification’ for Email Verification and ‘Get OTP for Mobile Number Verification’ for Mobile Number Verification.
• Note: Both email ID and mobile number verification are mandatory.
• After successfully registering, log in using your registered email id and password.
• After successful login, provide the Aadhaar number information and proceed further.
• Applicants need to authenticate their Aadhaar number. There are two types of authentication available.

OTP – If the mobile number of the applicant is registered with Aadhaar, they can choose the authentication type- OTP
Biometric – If the mobile number is not registered with Aadhaar, they can choose the authentication type as Biometric

MahaDBT Portal – Aadhaar Authentication

• Enter your Aadhaar number and click on the “Send OTP” button. The system validates the Aadhaar number and sends the system-generated “OTP” to the registered mobile number. Enter the OTP and click on the “OK” button. After successful OTP verification, applicant details as received from UIDAI will be auto-populated in personal details, address details, bank details, etc.
• Now, applicants can see the dashboard with available scholarships listed on it.
• Select the scholarship you wish to apply for and click on the “Apply” button to start a new application.
• Complete the profile by providing all the required information.
• Once the profile is updated, applicants can go to the “All Schemes” section and search for the scholarship they wish to apply for under the departments in the MahaDBT portal.
• A list of suggested scholarship schemes will appear. Select a scholarship to apply for.
• An application form will appear. Fill in all the required details and upload all supporting documents (if not already uploaded).
• Finally, submit the application.

Maha DBT Registration Process

To apply for any new scholarship scheme from your government MahaDBT it is necessary to create a new account on the MahaDBT portal i.e. MahaDBT registration.

Mahadbt registration is nothing but creating a new scholarship profile account. You just need to enter basic details and create a username and password.

Mahadbt Login

For the Mahadbt login first, you need to register on the Mahadbt portal before applying for any scholarship listed on the mahadbtmahait.gov.in scholarship portal.

After completing the registration you can now log in to Mahadbt. You must have your registered username and password to log in to Mahadbt.

Click on the login button and enter your username and password and then click on the submit button, now you will get the message that “You have successfully logged in to Mahadbt”.

Nowadays many students are facing problems related to the Mahadbt login page. Most of the students have lost their login id and password and others have a problem with the Mahadbat website not working. If you have lost your username and password then don’t worry follow the below steps to recover your username or password.

If you don’t have a username or password or you forgot it then don’t worry just follow the next steps:

Case 1. Forgot Username:

• If you have forgotten your username, click on the forgot username button in red.
• Then enter your full name as entered while registering.
• Enter your registered mobile number and date of birth in the next field.
• Click on the Get Username button.
• Now you will receive a new username through SMS on your registered mobile number.

Case 2. Forgot Password:

• If you have forgotten your password just click on the forgot password button.
• Then enter your registered username and click on Get OTP.
• Now you will receive an OTP on your registered email or mobile, enter OTP.
• Create a new password and click on the Set Password option.

What is the last date for the Mahadbt Scholarship Registration?

As the MahaDBT portal is there to help the students, they extend the registration deadline month by month. Mahadbt also wants to provide benefits to all eligible students so they extend the deadline. But as it works on an academic year basis, Mahadbat only gives the deadline till the current academic year. As it is a government scheme, you must follow the deadline to avoid any loss. We request all of you complete your registration within the last date of registration.

Registration for the academic year 2022-23 started on 21st September 2022 and the last date of registration will be 31st March 2023. As the deadline for registration is not yet officially announced by Mahadbt, if your document is not ready then you can wait for the registration.
