Janani Shishu Suraksha Karykram:- The state’s health minister, Mr. Raghusharma, announced the launch of the Rajasthan Janani Shishu Suraksha Yojana on February 9, 2020, at the Kangaroo Mother Care Conference, which was hosted in the SMS Medical College auditorium. By offering medical benefits approved by the state government, the project seeks to improve the care for babies, especially those with low birth weight, malnutrition, and early deliveries. The goal of this program is to lower Rajasthan’s infant mortality rate.

A program run by the Ministry of MoHFW offers free and cost-free birth, including cesarean sections, to expectant mothers who use government health facilities for their delivery. To prevent any newborn deaths in the state, the Rajasthani government has said that a training program will soon be introduced under this initiative.
