Jagananna Vidya Deevena Scheme: This scheme is launched by the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Shri Jagan Mohan Reddy Reddy. Since they did not have enough money even to eat, causing their children to lose their education, the Andhra Pradesh government started the Jagannath Vidya Deevena scheme. This scheme is providing financial assistance to the students. With the help of this scheme, students can complete their studies without facing any financial constraints and without burdening their families. This scheme is very helpful for the students. The main objective of starting this scheme is to encourage the students of state education.
जगन्नाथ विद्या दीवेना योजना उद्देश्य
इस योजना का मुख्य उद्देश्य उन छात्रों को वित्तीय सेवाएं प्रदान करना है जो अपनी वित्तीय स्थिति के कारण अध्ययन नहीं कर रहे हैं। जैसा कि सभी जानते हैं कि कोरोना वायरस ने देश के वित्तीय ढांचे को तोड़ कर रख दिया है। कई लोगों की नौकरी चली गई और वे बेरोजगार हो गए जिसके कारण उन्हें कई आर्थिक समस्याओं का सामना करना पड़ा। चूँकि उनके पास खाने के लिए भी पर्याप्त पैसा नहीं था, जिससे उनके बच्चों की शिक्षा छिन गई, आंध्र प्रदेश सरकार ने जगन्नाथ विद्या दीवेना योजना शुरू की। यह योजना छात्रों को वित्तीय सहायता प्रदान कर रही है। इस योजना की मदद से छात्र बिना किसी आर्थिक तंगी के और बिना अपने परिवार पर बोझ डाले अपनी पढ़ाई पूरी कर सकते हैं।
Respected Chief Minister of YSR Jagan Mohan Reddy has transferred the second instalment under this scheme on Thursday 29th July 2021. 693.81 in the bank accounts of 10.97 lakh beneficiaries. The government spent Rs. 5573 crores on schemes in 2019 to provide better career opportunities to the students of the state. With the help of this scheme, every eligible student will be able to pursue higher education.
District Collector Shri. Mallikarjuna has reported that 96,403 students of the Visakhapatnam district have benefited from this scheme after the release of the second instalment of the Jagannath Vidya Deevena Yojana. The government has released Rs 50 6.96 crore to the applicant’s mother’s account. The number of students getting the second instalment is 96,403. After this program, the collector has highlighted that the state government will bear the education expenses of every poor student so that every poor student can get an opportunity to get higher education.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Shri Jagan Mohan Reddy released the first instalment of the Jaganna Vidya Deevena Scheme on 19th April 2021. The government has released Rs 671.25 crore in the first instalment. This amount will be deposited directly into the bank account of the applicant’s mother. A total of 10.88 lakh beneficiaries have been selected by the Andhra Pradesh government under this scheme. By this scheme students coming from poverty-line families will get Rs.20,000/- per annum towards their tuition fee, examination fee, food and hostel rent etc., which in some cases will be reimbursed directly into the college account.
Jagannath Vidya Deevena Scheme is the flagship scheme of the Government of Andhra Pradesh. It was started for the welfare of the students studying post-matric courses. The main objective behind starting this is to encourage the students to pursue higher studies without being afraid of the course fees.
Employees doing government jobs are not eligible for the scheme. If someone in the family is getting a pension then he/she is not eligible for the scheme. Sanctuary workers are exempted from the scheme. Private Colleges affiliated with State Universities/Boards.
Any student whose annual family income is less than Rs. 2.5 lakh are eligible under the Jagannath Vidya Deevena scheme. Those having 10 acres of wetland and 25 acres of dry land are also eligible for the benefit.
Now attendance of students, teachers and non-teaching staff will be recorded through biometric attendance linked with Aadhaar. Fee reimbursement will not be applicable if the attendance of the student is less than 75%. The scheme is not applicable to deemed and private universities.
“Now, they have gone back and SSLC candidates are regular in the class,” he said, adding that if the attendance of a student falls below 75%, he/she will not be issued an exam admission ticket and will not be allowed to appear in the exam. Will not be given.
