Conclusion

The Andhra Pradesh government launched the Employee Health Scheme with the goal of offering state employees—both active and retired—and their dependents high-quality healthcare. Cashless hospitalisation offers greater coverage for chronic illnesses, post-hospitalization care, and financial security up to Rs. 2 lakhs per episode, in place of medical reimbursements. This all-inclusive health plan aims to provide government employees with accessible and reasonably priced medical care, thereby promoting their welfare and well-being across all pay grades. In other words, it protects AP employees’ health and, thus, their future.
