According to the e-Shram website, the employee must have an Aadhaar number, a mobile number linked to Aadhaar and a bank account number to register on the e-Shram portal. E-Shram has been created by the Ministry of Labor and Employment for the welfare of unorganized sector workers and this facility is for those workers who are not members of EPFO or ESIC.
