Digital Health Card: Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) has been launched by PM Narendra Modi through video conferencing on 27 September. The main objective behind launching this program is to connect India’s digital health infrastructure. And bridge the gap between various stakeholders and multiple systems of the country’s health ecosystem. The mission has four major components and Digital Health ID Card is one of them. Under this mission, citizens are given a digital health ID and once this ID is generated, their health details are recorded and preserved digitally.
To reduce dependence on paper, the central government is emphasizing digitization. Honourable Prime Minister of India launched the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission towards a safer and more efficient digital health record. The main advantage of a digital health card is that the history of all diseases and treatments can be tracked with a single click. So All the registered doctors and hospitals will be connected to a central server. These doctors and hospitals will upload the patient’s medical history through this server.

पीएम नरेंद्र मोदी द्वारा 27 सितंबर को वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग के जरिए आयुष्मान भारत डिजिटल मिशन (एबीडीएम) की शुरुआत की गई है. इस कार्यक्रम को शुरू करने के पीछे मुख्य उद्देश्य भारत के डिजिटल स्वास्थ्य ढांचे को जोड़ना और विभिन्न हितधारकों और देश के स्वास्थ्य पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र की कई प्रणालियों के बीच की खाई को पाटना है। मिशन के चार प्रमुख घटक हैं और डिजिटल हेल्थ आईडी कार्ड उनमें से एक है। इस मिशन के तहत, नागरिकों को एक डिजिटल हेल्थ आईडी दी जाती है और एक बार यह आईडी बन जाने के बाद, उनके स्वास्थ्य विवरण को रिकॉर्ड किया जाता है और डिजिटल रूप से संरक्षित किया जाता है।
कागज पर निर्भरता कम करने के लिए केंद्र सरकार डिजिटाइजेशन पर जोर दे रही है। भारत के माननीय प्रधान मंत्री ने सुरक्षित और अधिक कुशल डिजिटल स्वास्थ्य रिकॉर्ड की दिशा में आयुष्मान भारत डिजिटल मिशन की शुरुआत की। डिजिटल हेल्थ कार्ड का मुख्य लाभ यह है कि सभी बीमारियों और उपचारों के इतिहास को एक क्लिक से ट्रैक किया जा सकता है। सभी पंजीकृत डॉक्टर और अस्पताल एक सेंट्रल सर्वर से जुड़े रहेंगे। ये डॉक्टर और अस्पताल इस सर्वर के जरिए मरीज की मेडिकल हिस्ट्री अपलोड करेंगे।
