Common Service Centres, or CSC Digital Service Centres, were established in 2006 as part of India’s national e-governance concept. The Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DeitY). These centres are of great help to people living in rural areas who do not have access to the internet. To help people and students apply for various schemes and examinations, these centres are located in rural and remote places. And CSC Digital Seva Kendras charge a nominal fee and provide a variety of application services.

सामान्य सेवा केंद्र, या सीएससी डिजिटल सेवा केंद्र, 2006 में भारत की राष्ट्रीय ई-गवर्नेंस अवधारणा के हिस्से के रूप में स्थापित किए गए थे। इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स और सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी विभाग (डीईआईटीवाई), जो संचार और सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी मंत्रालय के तहत कार्य करता है, ने भारत को डिजिटाइज़ करने के लिए सीएससी डिजिटल सेवा केंद्रों की अवधारणा का प्रस्ताव रखा। ये केंद्र ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में रहने वाले उन लोगों के लिए बहुत मददगार हैं जिनकी इंटरनेट तक पहुंच नहीं है। लोगों और छात्रों को विभिन्न योजनाओं और परीक्षाओं के लिए आवेदन करने में मदद करने के लिए, ये केंद्र ग्रामीण और दूरदराज के स्थानों में स्थित हैं। और सीएससी डिजिटल सेवा केंद्र मामूली शुल्क लेते हैं और विभिन्न प्रकार की एप्लिकेशन सेवाएं प्रदान करते हैं। इन केंद्रों के माध्यम से लोग तमाम सरकारी योजनाओं और अन्य आवश्यक सेवाओं से परिचित हो रहे हैं।

सामान्य सेवा केंद्र (सीएससी) ऐसे पोर्टल हैं जो देश के ग्रामीण और दूरदराज के क्षेत्रों के निवासियों को विभिन्न कंपनियों और ई-गवर्नेंस के बारे में जानकारी प्रदान करते हैं। सीएससी सुविधा का पूरा नाम कॉमन सर्विस सेंटर या जन सेवा केंद्र है। सीएससी एक भारतीय नेटवर्क है जो भारत को पूरी तरह से डिजिटल राष्ट्र बनाने का प्रयास कर रहा है। CSC 2.0 योजना अगस्त 2015 में देश के ग्रामीण और दूरस्थ स्थानों में निवासियों के लिए प्रौद्योगिकी और डिजिटल सेवाओं तक पहुंच बढ़ाने के लिए शुरू की गई थी।

The objective of Digital Seva:

The primary objective of the initiative is to ensure that government services are accessible across India, even in rural and remote areas. Digital Seva CSC Portal provides services to citizens directly at their doorsteps to bring transparency and accountability to the system. These centres work to eliminate middlemen and prevent corruption in government offices.

Digital Seva Common Service Center is an online portal where citizens are provided access to various government services.
