How to Start A Common Service Center (CSC)?
Process to Register for a standard Service Center (CSC) and Starting a replacement CSC in Your Area and Check Status Online- a person who wants to open the Common Service Center and fulfils the eligibility can apply online. Application Procedure for fixing of CSC is as-
- Open the CSC Portal i.e. www.csc.gov.in
- Click on “Interested to become a CSC” on the left side of the page.
- Click on Link given ” For CSC Registration, Click Here”
- Enter the Aadhar Number in required box.
- After that choose the authentication Option from IRIS/ Finger Print/ just one occasion Password. Click on “Proceed”.
- Applicant have to pass through OTP Process.
- Click on Generate OTP.
- (Personal details of the applicant will automatically get filled from Aadhar data base. Applicant need to fill other details. Mobile Data and Email Id are going to be taken from Aadhar Card, same can’t be modified until change isn’t made in Aadhar.)
- Upload the Geo-tagged Image of Centers.
- Click on SUBMIT Option.
- On submission of Application, acknowledgement number are going to be sent to applicant.

How a Village Level Entrepreneur (VLE) can get Registered on CSC Portal-

CSC are going to be allocated to person called Village Level Entrepreneur (VLE). So CSC is operated by Village Level Entrepreneur (VLE). For it, so it’s essential to register themselves on official portal. Procedure of registration is as-
- Log on to the official Portal i.e. www.apna.csc.gov.in
- So click on “Login Tab” from the highest of page.
- Click on “CSC Connect”
- A new page are going to be open, so where VLE got to enter the CSC Login ID and Password.
- So After Authentication, A registration page are going to open where required data like Name, Address, CSC Location etc. need to enter.
- Click on Submit Option.
- On submission of details, so he will receive the E Mail and SMS to verify the Mail ID & Mobile Number.
- To verify an equivalent , so click on the Link given within the E-Mail and wish to enter the CSC ID/ Password and activation code sent via message on your mobile.
- So the confirmation mail for successfully registration are going to sent to the VLE.

What are the minimum requirements to become a VLE?
- Should have a valid Aadhaar number.
- So the VLE should be a village youth above 18 years aged .
- The VLE must have passed the 10th level examination from a recognized board as minimum level of educational qualification.
- So the VLE should be fluent in reading and writing the local dialect and will even have basic level knowledge of English .
- Prior knowledge in basic computer skills would be a preferred advantage.
- The VLE should motivated enough to be a major driver of social change and disperse his/her duties with utmost dedication and honesty.
Is there any fee for registration?
There is no fee for registration as a VLE. So it is absolutely free of cost.

What is an application number?

Common Services Centres
The CSC Login is a strategic cornerstone of the National e-Governance Plan (NeGP), approved by the Government in May 2006, as part of its commitment in the National Common Minimum Programme to introduce e-governance on a massive scale.
The CSCs would provide high quality and cost-effective video, voice and data content and services, in the areas of e-governance, education, health, telemedicine, entertainment as well as other private services. The Scheme creates a conducive environment for the private sector and NGOs to play an active role in implementation of the CSC Scheme, thereby becoming a partner of the government in development of rural India. The PPP model of the CSC scheme envisages a 3-tier structure consisting of the CSC operator (called Village Level Entrepreneur or VLE); the Service Centre Agency (SCA), that will be responsible for a division of 500-1000 CSCs; and a State Designated Agency (SDA) identified by the State Government responsible for managing the implementation in the entire State.

This application tracks CSC roll out progress at block level up to the stage CSCs are finally commissioned. CSC Online Monitoring Solution:
Post CSCs are commission; the online monitoring tool helps in registration of CSC IT terminals and tracks uptime of IT terminals. Each CSC PC is require to install and register online monitoring tool. The online registration process serves a proof of availability of CSC IT terminals as validated by their unique machine ID (Mac ID) and internet availability for delivering digital services.
CSC Connect: CSC Connect is a facility available to various Service Access Provider (SAP) Portals to allow CSCs to login into their portals using their unique CSC ID / password combination defined under CSC Online Monitoring System. This facility would save CSC the trouble of registering their profiles and remembering their IDs and password with multiple SAPs. The CSC Connect mechanism would make it possible for CSCs; so using their unique CSC ID / Password to gain access to the SAP Portal; and will also help DIT to measure the usage of services of various SAP sites at various CSCs.

How to Get CSC Login Credentials?
If you need a CSC ID, you have to register yourself by visiting the URL http://register.csc.gov.in. At first, you have to authenticate your Aadhaar card and then fill the required personal, kiosk, banking and PAN details. Finally, submit the form and an application reference ID will be generated. Meanwhile, your application goes through a quality check. So If your application is approved, you will become a CSC VLE and your account will be created.
